Hey everyone, I know it’s been a long time since I have bored you to death with my whining and crying about how jiu jitsu is hard and everyone beats me up on a daily basis, but I have good news! I’ve been working on a lot of things the past few months, and they are coming to you very soon. If you don’t know me personally (or maybe you do and just haven’t heard), I am back in the USA now. My 8 months in Curitiba was one that I will always be thankful for, and I made many great friends and people that I consider family there. I plan on making trips there along with Rio for the rest of my life when circumstances permit.
For now, it’s back to work in the good ol’ USA, but that doesnt’ mean that content will stop here. In fact, I have a lot of experiences to share with all of you and I have been putting pen to paper (ok fine I use Microsoft Word) to a lot of topics I want to write about. As I am going full bore at finishing grad school, I do nothing but sit at the computer anyway, and I can’t write about instructional technologies all day long, so look for some things coming up really soon.
To keep the wolves at bay, I want to share with you guys the first in two part series of a tour I did at the Killer Bees Muay Thai College in Curitiba. The head trainer there is Rodrigo Vidal, the original muay thai trainer for Anderson Silva. In this part, I interview him as well as take a tour of the academy. I hope you all enjoy, and I’ll have part 2 up very soon. Any feedback on the videos would definitely be appreciated. Click the link below to see the video over at fcfighter.com!
