Where to begin? I’ve had this concept of a blog and book in my mind for so long, but life has always got in the way. How does that happen? I’ve always wanted to be a writer. I’ve always wanted to be a corporate executive too. The funny thing is, a company has to hire you to be a corporate executive. To be a writer, you simply have to write. It doesn’t mean anyone will read it, but by definition you are a writer.
Well, life is in the way no longer. I’ve tossed aside corporate aspirations for the pursuit of happiness, which for me is what I call “writing and fighting”. This blog was created for a few reasons. First, I’d like to chronicle my training. It will help me remember concepts and lessons learned. I’d also like to keep a record of my travels. I have a few trips in the works to train in different places, and a few people seem interested in what I’m doing so I’m going to write about it. It will also serve as an outlet for my raging mind. Writing gives me clarity. It dumps all of the scrambled mess that resides in my head onto paper (or in this case electronic form). Finally, this page will be a framework for the book I’m writing.
So there you have it. Welcome to the blog (all one of you that I’m probably forcing to read this). Enjoy my nonsensical banter, and feel free to comment anything you might think after reading.
